Our family came from near Chateau Thierry in 1895 and then moved to England. We moved to Reims France in 2006 and were able to research our geneology and found to our surprise that that we had moved to the region that our family originally came from. We have even found a distant cousin close to Reims. I have studied the history of the Chemin des Dames from the British Expeditionary Force's arrival in September 1914, when they crossed the Aisne at Venizel in pursuit of the Germans.
